Meet Seth Flowers of Flowers Insurance Agency

It doesn’t take long to learn the value that Seth Flowers places on family and community. After working in the corporate world for 20 years in sales and operations, Seth wanted to branch out on his own. The insurance industry allowed him to interact with an entire community, serving a wide array of individuals and businesses. And ultimately, he says, “insurance coverage protects assets and provides financial stability for families.”

Seth, his wife of 17 years, Shelby, and talented 11-year-old son, Taylor, moved back to the Round Rock area 3 ½ years ago. Shelby also works to keep families stable; she is a nurse in the cardiology and critical care departments at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center. They are also proud host parents in the foreign exchange program, sponsoring 16-year-old Mathis from Germany. Mathis plays soccer for Stony Point HS, and Taylor plays baseball for Round Rock ISD.

While Seth moved frequently as a child, living in 12 different cities and towns of Texas, Seth and Shelby have wisely chosen Round Rock to plant roots for their family. “After moving as much as I have, having a true home and community means the world me,” explains Seth, “My mission is to make this the best neighborhood and town in the world.”

Flowers Insurance Agency has already led major contributions to the community, bringing businesses and residents together for an Annual Community Fun Day event with free food, games and prizes. From their Facebook page, Seth promotes their involvement with various organizations (i.e. Round Rock Chamber, Round Rock ISD, Round Rock Express) in the hopes that others will get involved too. Their website shares community information along with educational content on selecting insurance coverages.

“When it comes to your finances and your family, make sure you speak with an expert prior to buying a product that impacts these two areas,” Seth advises, “Getting insurance coverage online or through a call center representative can be a quick process but that does not mean you will receive what you actually need.” Seth trains his team on how to adjust automated assumptions insurance companies make on clients.
